The Archive Society operates as a curated resale and consignment space rooted in quality, intention, and respect—for garments, for the space, and for one another.

All purchases are final sale.
We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credits.

We encourage you to review items carefully before purchasing. Our team is always available to assist with sizing, fit, and condition.

Bring Your Own Bag (BYOB)

We operate on a Bring Your Own Bag (BYOB) system.

  • We do not provide disposable bags

  • Please come prepared when shopping


We offer Archive Society reusable tote bags available for purchase.

Incentive

Consignment Standards

We accept a curated selection of modern and vintage garments that align with our quality and aesthetic standards.

All items must be:

  • Clean and in excellent condition

  • Free of damage, stains, or excessive wear

  • Aligned with current or timeless style


We reserve the right to accept or decline items at our discretion.

Pricing & Ownership

  • All pricing is determined by The Archive Society

  • Items remain the property of the consignor until sold

  • Commission structures are agreed upon prior to intake

Item Responsibility

While we take great care in handling all items, The Archive Society is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft.

In-Store Conduct

To maintain a refined and welcoming environment:

  • No smoking inside or directly outside the entrance

  • Shoes must be worn at all times

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times

  • Please handle all garments with care

Fitting Room Etiquette

  • Be mindful when trying on garments

  • Avoid makeup transfer, fragrances, or products that may damage items

  • Limit items in fitting rooms when requested during high traffic periods

Hold Policy

We do not offer holds on items. All pieces are sold on a first come, first served basis.

Authentication & Condition

We do our best to ensure authenticity and quality. All items are sold as-is, with condition reflected in pricing.

Right to Refuse Service

The Archive Society reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not respect store policies or the in-store experience.
